Charge Adventures is a full-service outfitting company, specializing in high-tier hunting trips for both outdoor industry affiliates and private individuals. They provide outdoor experiences that incorporate traditional guided and outfitted adventures.
Their objective was to update their online image to portray the look of their high-tier service and differentiate themselves from other outfitters in the outdoor industry.
My solution introduced a total redesign of their site layout. The original site lacked several things. It lacked a modern image gallery with lightbox features, typography, a hero section, and organization in their page text. My redesign addressed and corrected each of these problems. Charge Adventures sells outdoor experiences, to effectively communicate this to visitors, I chose to feature a silent background video in the hero section. Compiled from footage provided by their videographer, I edited the clips together and added a rugged paper texture to blend the video to the page content while keeping the theme consistent. To clean up the text, I coded a custom accordion section so visitors could quickly find and expand the information they needed.

Married By Mariella provides wedding planning, coordinating, and officiating services to create unique wedding experiences for clients.
The objective for Mariella was to update her online image to give her business a more professional look and to show her previous client work on her website in a more structured and clean manner.
My solution several additions the original site needed. It lacked a proper hero section with a CTA, it lacked a portfolio of prior work, and several pages could be condensed into single pages to simplify the nav bar. To address these problems, I started with fixing the landing page. I took the original landing page content and combined it with the about page, where it was more appropriate. Next was determining what goes on the landing page? What is Mariella trying to achieve? What dose the visitor need to see and be directed to? These are all important questions that need to be answered in order to create a compelling landing page. So I restructured the page with a hero section with a fitting header, sub header, and CTA button. The CTA button linked to the "packages" page where visitors could view services she offers. Those packages were then each redesigned to have a CTA button of their own leading to the contact page. Under the hero section I next added portfolio section showcasing her portfolio highlights. This would enhance her business legitimacy and professional image by giving social proof and examples of prior work. Under that I put two additional sections about the packages and about Mariella, followed by contact form. For the final touches I redid the typography and minimized her logo to make it look more elite.

Down Payment Hunters is a market leader providing information and direct lending options so their clients can get the correct loan opportunity for their situation.
Their objective was to update their online image to portray a more legitimate and higher-tier look, while also condensing the large volume of text on their pages into more digestible segments.
My solution redesigned and simplified their site layout and style. The main problems they had with their pages were that they were too cluttered and busy, with an overwhelming amount of text. To fix this I cleaned up their hero section by adding a header and sub header explaining who they are and what they do. I followed that up with changing the color scheme making the dark blue into a lighter calmer blue to give the visitor a sense of peace and calm on their stressful journey of dealing with home loans. I topped this with isometric AI art of a home to give the site a modern feel, contrasting the old clip art which was previously on the site's design. Next I made the social proof bar smaller, where previously it took up half a page section. I then blended it with the grass on the art and created a seamless transition to the next section in the shape of an arrow encouraging the visitor to scroll. I reorganized the following sections to condense the text, I then used minimalistic illustrations to visually aid the visitor through the information they were consuming.
